registro duomenų tipas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Aibė į ↑operacinės sistemos registrą įrašomų duomenų reikšmių, turinčių bendrų savybių: su jomis atliekamos tos pačios operacijos. Galimų registro duomenų tipų aibė priklauso nuo ↑operacinės sistemos versijos. Kuo aukštesnė versija, tuo daugiau duomenų tipų. Pavyzdžiui, „Windows XP“ registras turi šiuos duomenų tipus: REG_BINARY – pirminiai ↑dvejetainiai duomenys, paprastai naudojami informacijai apie ↑aparatinę įrangą įrašyti; ↑registro tvarkytuvė šio duomenų tipo reikšmes pateikia šešioliktainiu formatu. REG_DWORD – duomenys, pateikiami keturių baitų ilgio skaičiais, juos paprastai įrašo įtaisų ir įrenginių ↑tvarkyklės; registro tvarkytuvė šio duomenų tipo reikšmes gali pateikti dvejetainiu, šešioliktainiu arba dešimtainiu formatu. REG_EXPAND_SZ – kintamo ilgio teksto eilutės. REG_MULTI_SZ – teksto eilučių sąrašas; sąrašo elementai paprastai atskiriami tarpais arba kableliais. REG_SZ – fiksuoto ilgio teksto eilutės; dažniausiai naudojamas įvairių programų parametrams įrašyti.
